Values & Philosophy

In therapy, we will enter an authentic relationship together where we build an honest, respectful, and non-judgmental sanctuary for you to process, heal, and transform. The stories you carry have shaped your life and given you meaning. Together, we will explore your aspirations, strengths, experiences, identities, and fears as well as challenge maladaptive patterns in order to facilitate growth and reclamation of your story.

We are each unique individuals with different lived experiences, cultural backgrounds, family dynamics, and value systems; as such, there is not a one-size-fits-all way to do therapy. I have an eclectic practice, integrating a variety of models and theories to find what resonates with you. Through embracing your strengths and the healing aspects of your culture and identities, we will build upon areas of your life that are working, leave behind or transform those which are not, and pick-up new tools along the way.

My empathy and passion are drawn from my own lived experiences with loss, life-transitions, divorce and blended family of origin, parenting, diaspora, and growing up as the daughter of refugees/immigrants. I would be honored to accompany you in your vulnerability as you engage in the therapeutic process.
