We all live with a unique set of life experiences, world views, and patterns of behavior that shape how we show up for ourselves and others. Sometimes we are our own worst enemies. At times, life feels like the world is stacked up against us. Most days we just need someone to listen. The therapeutic space is where we can start the process of becoming more aware of our truths and explore how our values and identities impact our realities and relationships.
Our sessions will be designed to your specific needs and goals. My approach is trauma-informed, client-centered, and affirmative. Ultimately, “what matters is what works.” My goal is to create a secure and restorative space for you to find resolve, tend to healing, practice acceptance, and brave towards positive change.
As a queer, Asian-American growing up in a religious immigrant home, I understand how challenging it is to reconcile culture clashing and diverging identities. Rigid belief systems often perpetuate stigma and shame, which harms and alienates us from our true selves. Regardless of your background and intersectional identities, I hope to offer you with the appropriate insight, tools, and support needed to progress in your personal life journey.
