This is in accordance with Illinois State Law (the Wellness and Oversight for Psychological Resources Act(1)). Therapists at other practices who have used these tools for interactions with clients have seriously damaged their therapeutic relationships with their clients (2).

The current Live Oak uses for AI all fall outside of our interactions with clients. Specifically, Live Oak use of AI includes the following:

As part of this, after we upload the edited audio, we use Transistors system to AI generate a transcript for our audiences to be able to read either while listening, or in lieu of listening, to the episode.
  • AI is used for emails from the training program. AI offers suggested replies, checking the grammar, and improving the clarity of the text.
