I lead my therapeutic practice with a relational lens, prioritizing connection in the process of healing and discovering yourself. My intention is to create a nurturing environment where you can feel heard, challenged, and celebrated. We’ll approach our work holistically, affirming the connections between your body, mental health, and the systems that shape our lives.
I enjoy supporting teens and adults navigating life transitions, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. I’m especially passionate about working with individuals seeking queer-affirming identity exploration and with couples striving to build understanding and connection in their relationships.
As a white, Gen Z trans woman raised in a small Midwestern town, my path to self-affirmation mirrors the experiences of many in the queer community. My background strongly influences my commitment to addressing oppressive systems while embracing an intersectional, anti-racist, and feminist framework to compassionately guide our work together. I actively challenge oppressive clinical standards, like pathologizing, in my practice so I can create a chill space that aligns with my values while upholding and pursuing accountability and self-growth.
To offer some guidance in our work, I primarily pull inspiration from Parts Work, Somatics, and Psychodynamics, with a trauma-informed focus while leaning on my background in community mental health and crisis counseling. Additionally, I invite art practices in session to encourage creativity and emotional expression as a tool to reconnect with ourselves. At my core, I strongly believe that radical change is created through relationships and community. My hope is that in our work together, you’ll find a meaningful sense of belonging.
