LGBTQ Black, Indigenous and People of Color (QTBIPOC) often struggle to find a therapist who they will be comfortable with and trust to be able to hold and understand their experiences. Due to traumas caused by institutional and interpersonal oppression, people may be hesitant to access therapy or to go to someone who doesn’t share their experience. This training aims to support clinicians in creating and implementing appropriate interventions for this unique population. This training creates space for both clinicians who do and don’t identify with this population to learn about new intervention ideas.
