Decolonial Healing Group

Dates: Every other Thursday 1:00PM – 1:55PM

Location: Currently meeting via Zoom

Fee: We accept BCBS PPO, NU Aetna, United Healthcare and have sliding scale options of $30-50 per session

This group serves as a therapeutic and educational affinity space for LGBTQ people who identify as AMEMSA or SWANA. AMEMSA refers to people who identify as Arab, Middle Eastern, Muslim and South Asian. SWANA refers to Southwest Asian and North African.

In this group, clients explore life stressors through the lens of decolonial and anti-oppressive values. There is space for clients to offer each other support as well as reclaim and apply healing practices relevant to our ancestries.
