Therapy is sacred, and as a therapist, I strive to create a calm space where you will feel heard and supported. I believe it is a privilege to walk alongside another in their most vulnerable moments. The therapeutic relationship holds immense power, capable of bringing profound healing into our lives. Together, we embark on a journey to explore the concerns you bring to each session, unraveling areas where you may feel stuck.
As a clinician, I integrate a range of frameworks to best suit your unique needs, such as psychodynamic, person-centered, and narrative psychotherapy. I am rooted in an understanding that living under systems of oppression can impose significant stressors on our lives, health, wellbeing, relationships and communities. Collaboratively, we process these realities and destigmatize the effects that the systems have on our individual lives.
I really value the chance to work with individuals who have experienced trauma, including religious trauma. Drawing from both my clinical research and personal experience, I am especially attuned to the impact that religious trauma can have on those who have experienced it. I am also intimately aware of the healing that therapy can facilitate.
I identify as a white, femme, queer person and reject all labels regarding my own gender. In our work together, you will find that I’m oriented towards discussing the impact of both privilege and marginalization on our lives, our relationships and even the work we are doing together.
